Anne-Marie Taigi
Anne-Marie Taigi (Ass-Maria Gesulada Antonia Gianetti marries Taigi), 1769 - 1837, is an Italian layman, mother, who profited from extases mystical.
Its life
Born with His, his/her father, pharmacist, having lost his goods following bad deals, it had to leave with its family to Rome where it was obliged to exert various employment in order to help them his to live.
Very young person still, she married Dominique Taigi, domestic with the palate Chigi. Dominique was a man hard-working and serious, but hard and coléreux, and Anne-Marie had to show a great patience to support her turned sour and difficult character.
She put at the world seven children, of which three died in low age. She was an excellent housewife, devoted for all, in spite of the weakness of the means of the household. Very pious, she requested much and lived the Gospel while being occupied with the multiple daily tasks. Even her husband will say of it that it: “ spoke about God without becoming tedious like are so much of bigottes ”. Its house was a place of harmony, peace, where it received the poor at the same time as it dealt actively of her children and her husband.
She died on June 9th 1837 and its body, noncorrupted, rests with Rome in the church Saint Chrysogone.
Visions and extases
God appeared in Anne-Marie where that it was, no matter what it made, by visions, extases, so much so that it said to him with familiarity and simplicity: “ Leave me, I have to make, I am mother ”.During more than forty years, it had the vision of a luminous sphere, like a small sun surrounded by spines, which appeared to him. By looking at it could read there at the same time future events and the frame of mind of people who came to visit it. This gift of prophecy and prescience brought many people to him which came to require council of him, and all its life, it accepted them, with joy and patience.
Beatification

Declared Worthy on March 4th 1906, Anne-Marie Taïgi, it was béatifiée by the Pope Benoît XV on May 30th 1920.
