Anne-Marie Garat is a French novelist. She obtained the Prix Femina for her novel Aden in 1992 and the Prix Marguerite Audoux for her novel, the evil famed .
She was born in 1946 with Bordeaux where she made studies of Letters. Then, she obtained a DEA of Cinema at the university of Paris I. She lives in Paris where she teaches the cinema and photography. She was mission leader, near Jack Lang, for the teaching of the cinema at the school.
She published many Romance, in which the female characters have a very large importance and a very fine psychology.
These novels often occur at various times the 20th century (the years 1910 for In the hand of the devil , the second world war for evil famed ) without the will of historical reconstitution being too heavy as in many historical novel.
