Anne-Marie Blanc , the " Large dame" Theater and Swiss Cinema , was born the September 2nd 1919 with Vevey (canton of Vaud), girl of the Of Vaud Louis Blanc, preserving of the land register, and the Genevoise Valentine Chevallier. She is the widow of Heinrich Fueter.

After having followed the elementary school and the Gymnasium to Bern, it received a training of actress with Zurich near Ernst Ginsberg and Ellen Widmann. She appeared for the first time in a film at the end of the years 1930 and its career continues still today.

Beginnings

It is the realizer Leopold Lindtberg who launched it in the cinema, with the role of Sonja Witschi in the sergeant Studer ( Wachtmeister Studer , 1939), with Heinrich Gretler, drawn from a Detective novel of Friedrich Glauser published in 1936). A career rich - and long

Anne-Marie Blanc also made television for ZDF, ARD and the SR. She is well-known Germanic Swiss televiewers for her role of Aunt Esther in the televised series Lüthi and Blanc. She also played the grandmother Josefine Stäublin in Tobias, televised series of Nicolas Ryhiner who puts in scene a Swiss family " ordinaire".
