Anne… the house with the green pinions (film)
Anne… the house with the green pinions is a series of three Canadian films for television realized in 1985 based on " Ann off Green Gables ". The first part left in Feuilleton televised in France under the title " Happiness at the end of the road ".
Synopsis
This first shutter starts during the adoption of Anne with Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, brother and sister living the " house of the green pinions " , and its childhood to its entry in the adult world recalls.
Anne finds in Matthew a loving grandfather. If its beginnings with Marilla are difficult, because as a old maid it was turned sour, all the love thereafter is guessed that it carries to Anne, and that it inevitably does not dare to acknowledge.
Anne Shirley is at this time a rêveuse, impassioned little girl literature and of " castles out of pink marble ". Its daydream, which makes of it the being single and attaching which it is, will be however an obstacle with its love life thereafter, since it awaits love an ideal a priori too utopian, without suspecting that what is with its range of hand, certainly less romantic, will fill it more.
Anne is a brilliant pupil. And Avonlea being a small village, all the characters of its generations and the relations which it will maintain a priori with them are presented to the elementary school.
Diana quickly becomes the best friend of Anne. She is the girl of a very easy couple, but its family accommodates Anne with much love. Gilbert Blythe, wire of the first love of Marilla, him also farmer, is a young boy shining, who, making fun of the russet-red color of the hair of Anne at the time of the re-entry, finds his enemy and school rival. He likes to the girls, and out of cheek, which makes say to Anne who he is very imbu of itself. One finds also the character caricatured of an young girl fair, futile and stupid, who seeks a husband of good family for any objective.
Anne thus develops a strong feeling of independence, dictated partly by the image of Marilla.
She leaves to follow studies, to become teacher, downtown, just like Gilbert Blythe. Where the reconcilation seems to intervene, the new conquest in love with the young man freezes again his relations with his former neighbor. At this point in time it is guessed that Anne, despite everything felt that it kept in this connection, succumbed to her charm. Moreover, their relations are true drive out-crossed. Guilbert often tries to be made forgive, to show in Anne that he appreciates it, as when he steals his dance card to him, but the young girl directs herself quickly afterwards.
Anne leaves major her promotion, and Gilbert arrives 2nd. He obtains the station with Avonlea, and Anne, having a station in a nearby village, but without means of transport she sees herself obliged to leave the house of the green pinions. The film finishes on the reconciliation between Anne and Gilbert, in corn fields, when this one announces to him that it made exchange their stations, and that Ann can thus remain in Avonlea.
