The town of Annapolis is the capital of the State Maryland, with the the United States. Located in seaside, on the Bay of Chesapeake, it forms integral part of the great agglomeration which gathers Washington, cd. and Baltimore, more the big city of Maryland. In 2000, its population was of 35  838 inhabitants.

History

In 1649, puritans exiled of Virginia and carried out by William Stone base the colony of Providence on northern bank of the Severn river.
