Annalen der Physik is the oldest review of physics, published since 1799. It is a review with Reading panel, which publishes articles in English language in all the fields connected to the Physique.

It was first of all published of 1790 with 1794 under the name of Journal der Physik , then of 1795 with 1797 under that of Neue Journal der Physik

At the beginning of the 20th century, the German is the language of reference in the field of physics, and the review, then published in this language is the review of reference. English now took the top, and Annalen der Physik is published nowadays in English language. Many major work was initially published there. Among the famous articles appear four papers of Albert Einstein published in 1905, as well as work of Hertz or Planck.
