Annabelle Euranie

Annabelle Euranie , born the September 4th 1982 with Gonesse, is old a Judo kate French.

It took its sporting retirement with the beginning of the year 2007.

Biography:

Born on September 4th, 1982 in Gonesse, Annabelle Euranie is surrounded in its family of two other high level judokas, her Fanny sister and her David brother.

She begins the judo around 13 years, and although many people saw in this teenager a girl except criteria, she very quickly will be success in her category, less than 52 kg…

The year ostentation of Annabelle will remain without any doubt 2003: she appears then with the international level in a way crashing to pieces with a championship of Europe taken down on May 16th with Düsseldorf (Germany) and a money medal to the championships of the world organized with Osaka (Japan), on September 11th.

In 2004, it takes part in its first Olympic Games, with Athens. But as for the whole of the French judo, the competition does not occur very well for Annabelle, which finishes all the same in a very honourable fifth place. Two months afterwards, it gains with the team of France the championship of Europe by teams, in Paris.

The year 2005 is rather paradoxical… After to be crowned champion of France, gained the International tournament of Paris and gained the Mediterranean Plays with Alméria (Spain), it fails the championships of the world of the Cairo and does not republish its performance of 2003 by not taking down a medal… It then decides to change category and to pass in less than 57 kg, weight which will be easier to reach because of its big size. Immediately, it is essential in its new category on the championships of France (January 2006). It returns thus in competition with Barbara Harel. But at the beginning of January 2007, it announces its decision to stop its career of judokate, at 24 years. “The motivation left” explains you it.

It thus leaves the judo, strong a very beautiful prize list, and leaves then in training course to work in the Douane S.
