Anna Rosmus

Anna Elisabeth Rosmus (today Anja Rosmus-Wenninger) (born in 1960 with Passau) is a German auteure.

The year of the vat, at the time of a contest of essay having for topic the daily newspaper under the Third Reich Anna Rosmus, then 20 years old, was interested in the role of its birthplace Passau at that time and in the fate of the Jews of Passau. During its investigations, it quickly met resistances: thus during three years the access to the files of the town of Passau was refused to him, and the examination of the files of the court was restricted to him. In 1983, Anna Rosmus gathered the results of its research in the book Widerstand und Verfolgung amndt Beispiel Passaus 1933-1939 ( Résistance and persecution: the example of Passau 1933-1939 ). In 1984 it was received the Prix brother and sister Scholl. The threats of citizens of his birthplace which regarded it as a " souilleuse of nest " obliged to leave Passau in 1994 to emigrate with the the United States.

She lives today close to Chesapeake Bay in the Maryland. In 1990, the history of its life was used as model in Michael Verhoeven for her film Das schreckliche Mädchen ( the horrible girl ).
