Ann Peebles is an American singer of Soul music and Rhythm and blues, born with Saint-Louis (Missouri]] the April 27th 1947. Its voice, which can be sensual or endiablée, was worth many successes to him.

Ann Peebles is the seventh of a family of eleven children. She started to sing as of the 9 years age in the family choral society directed by her father, the Peebles Choir . She ventures on scene at 20 years and sings Blues. She is noticed in Memphis by the trumpet player Gene Bowlegs Miller, who presents it to Willie Mitchell, producer for the lable Hi Records. She is at once engaged and quickly leaves its first disc in 1969, Walk Away , which reaches the n° 22 in the hit-parade American of the black artists.
Ann Peebles is launched. She records disc on disc in the Années 1970. Its principal success is I Can' T Stand the Rain in 1973, n° 6 in the hit-parade " noir" and n° 38 in the hit-parade general.
After a long pause in the Years 1980, devoted to its family, it reappeared in 1992 with the album Full Time Love , published at Bullseye Records, its new mark of discs.
She married in 1974 with the type-setter Don Bryant.
