Ann Hutchinson

Ann Hutchinson (born with New York the November 3rd 1918) is a Danse uses American, expert international in Notation Laban. She lives and works with London.

Raised in Europe, she discovers in the Années 1930 the notation of the dance at the school Jooss - Leeder. She acquired a solid experiment of dancer and compiler near choreographers such as Jerome Robbins, Antony Tudor, George Balanchine or Doris Humphrey.

Co-founder of Dance Notation Office (DNB, New York) in 1940, it founded Language off Dance Center (LODC, London) in 1967.

Its work in particular allowed the reconstitution of Ballet S like Vivandière of Arthur Saint-Leon or the Afternoon of a fauna of Vaslav Nijinski.

It is the wife of the historian of the dance Ivor Guest and signs its works, since the Années 1980, Ann Hutchinson Guest .
