Ankst
Ankst is a Independent label Welsh of music, created in 1988 at the Welsh university of Aberystwyth, by Alun Llwyd and Emyr Williams. Ankst launched many known Welsh artists, like Llwybr Llaethog, Super Furry Animals and Gorky' S Zygotic Mynci. Into 1997, the label was divided between Ankst Management (managing the Super Furry Animals, Gorky' S Zygotic Mynci, The Longcut, and Cerys Mathews) and Ankst Musik, the label strictly speaking (which is now based with Pentraeth, in Anglesey).
