Ankeveen
Ankeveen is a Holland-Septentrional provincial town of to the Netherlands. It belongs to the common of Wijdemeren. Until 1966, Ankeveen was an independent commune.
The village of Ankeveen counts 707 inhabitants. The statistical district (village and surroundings) has a population of approximately: 1610 inhabitants (2005).
In the west of the village there is a lake called Ankeveense Plassen, known in the Netherlands for its courses of Patinage in winter.
