AnimeLand
AnimeLand is the first monthly magazine French devoted to the Japanese animation and the Manga. It is published by Anime manga press.
AnimeLand was first of all a Fanzine specialized in the Asian cinema of animation whose first number appeared in April 1991. In April 1996, AnimeLand professionnalise and leaves in kiosk. The Magazine partly opens with the cinema animation Western in 2003 and publishes its number 100 in 2004. With the re-entry 2005, AnimeLand is centred nevertheless on Japanese animation and the Manga S with a new formula. The magazine sticks to the topicality in France animates some and in manga and with the topicality in Japan in production animates. Every month the magazine peels works and proposes analyzes and readings of several levels on the same work. In addition to the magazine, some of its out of the ordinary became true references as well for the professionals as for the general public; two titles are thus to retain: the Out of the ordinary 5, appeared in 2003, recalling the origin and the beginnings of the manga. As for the out of the ordinary 10 appeared in 2006, it continues the teaching step of preceding by explaining the leading differences of the manga and presents the studios of Japanese animation, true industrial workshops.
AnimeLand X-tra
Animeland X-tra is a young magazine, quarterly. It is about the little brother of Animeland, the first magazine of animation and the manga. this one is addressed to a public a little younger, from 10 to 20 years. It supplements animeland and is directed towards the topicality in France that it is in video, on television or in edition. Top of its 64 pages it contains also 4 A2 posters and 8 charts collectors. In each number there is a contest to gain mangas and to vote for its preferred articles, as in the Japanese magazines. This magazine also tries to establish bridges cultural with Japan by proposing analyzes of legends through Japanese works on paper and video.
