Anguillule of the corn niello
The anguillule of the corn niello ( Anguina tritici (Steinbuch, 1799)) is a Nématode (towards round) of 1 with 2mm length, which was very common in Europe whose host is the Blé. It causes a disease, become rare, the niello of corns.
The symptoms are the contamination grain by the nematodes. The grain is smaller, and is crushed by making a cloud dust.
The agent of dissemination is thus the seed. The quasi-disappearance of the disease is due to the progress made by the agriculture in the preparation of the seeds
