Anguillule of cereals and the bulbs
The anguillule of cereals and the bulbs ( Ditylenchus dipsaci (Kuhn, 1857)) is a Nématode (towards round) of 1 with 2mm length, very common in Europe whose hosts are more than one thousand of plants, but mainly:
- of the graminaceous (oats, Rye, Corn)
- of the liliaceous (Onion, garlic, Leek) vermicular cf Disease of the onion
- of the leguminous (alfalfa, Bean, pea, Clover)
- of the solanaceous (Potato, Tobacco)
- of the crucifères (cabbage, Turnip, mustard)
- of the moracées (Hemp, Hop).
It can persist in the ground with the state of life slowed down during several years (10 years?) They can nevertheless survive drying for a long time. Thus scientists could highlight which this species could survive during twenty years in a mass of dry cotton wadding.
