The seven wonders of the world are the most admirable monuments of the world Antique. The author alexandrine Philon de Byzance gives of it the list in his work entitled On the seven wonders of the world (Περὶ τῶν Ἑπτὰ Θεαμάτων). One also allots this list to Hérodote, Diodore of Sicily, Antipater de Sidon and Strabon.
