Angioplastie
The angioplastie is generally a medico-surgical technique of modification of a Blood-vessel, arterial, the angioplastie can be realized without surgical access by the puncture with the needle of the vessel: it is then “percutaneous”.
Percutaneous Angioplastie
The percutaneous angioplastie is indicated to treat the Occlusion S or the arterial Sténose S. It uses for that of small inflatable small baloons, of single use, which make it possible to dilate the Artère at the place of the contracting. Generally, the gesture is supplemented by the installation of a metal Prothèse (commonly called “Stent” or arises ) which remains encrusted inside the vessel to avoid the reformation of a contracting. This prosthesis is gradually covered by the cells with the artery which, in certain cases, develop excessively, reforming a contracting (phenomenon known as of “Resténose”). To fight against this phenomenon, of new prostheses covered with active products fighting against this cellular development were invented. In all the cases, the administration of drugs fighting against plate aggregation is necessary long-term.
