Angevin

The angevin belongs to the family of the languages of oil, connects Romance Langues which also includes/understands the French, the Picard, the Poitevin, the Saintongeais, the Wallon in particular.

Geographical distribution

He is spoken mainly in the Département about Maine-et-Loire, in the area of Nantes and in Brittany or he is named Gallo with some alternatives. It is as to note as the Québécois, of which much has ancestors coming from the area, use some of its expressions regularly.
