Angels of the night

the Angels of the night ( Birds off Prey ) is a Televised series American in 13 45 minutes episodes, created according to the series éponyme of cd. Comics and diffused between the October 9th 2002 and the February 19th 2003 on the network The WB. In France, the series was diffused starting from the January 28th 2004 on TF6.

Synopsis

Barbara Gordon " Batgirl ", paralyzed legs after being itself made draw above by the Joker, specialized in the information systems under the name of code of Oracle. It was surrounded by Helena Kyle " Huntress ", the girl of Batman and Catwoman, and of the girl of Black Canary, Dinah Redmond, in order to fight the crime in the streets of Gotham City. Vis-a-vis it, Doctor Harleen Quinzel, formerly assistant of the Joker under the name of Harley Quinn.

Comments

Huntress is based on the pre-crisis character of Huntress. In the pre-crisis version, Huntress was the girl of Batman and Catwoman.

This new version is held in a future being located after Batman, the challenge .

The plan of New Gotham is that created following the saga No Man's Land . Just like Smallville , this series is produced by the company Tollin/Robbins Productions.

Mark Hamill, more known for its character of Luke Skywalker, had made the voice of the Joker in the two cartoons of Batman and also the league of the dispensers of justice. It lent its voice in a scene of the televised series, inspired of The Killing Joke , written by Alan Moore. In this scene, one saw Barbara Gordon being made draw above by the Joker. Mark Hamill again lent its voice for the Joker.

In spite of the anachronism of the series, many enemies of universe cd. seemed Clayface, Harley Quinn…

Two pilots were turned: in the first, Sherilyn Fenn interpreted the role of Harleen Quinzel and Mia Sara in the second pilot.
