Angel-Felix Patassé

Angel-Felix Patassé is a Central African politician of origin of the Ivory Coast more precisely Abé was born the January 25th 1937.

Graduate of the higher Academy of tropical agriculture of Nogent-sur-Marne (France), it is named in 1965 with the cabinet of the Minister for Agriculture and the development.

Under the presidency of Jean-Bédel Bokassa, it is several times at the government: (Minister for the developed between January 1966 and April 1968, Minister for rural development between May 1972 and April 1973, Minister for tourism, water, wood, hunting and fishing between June 1974 and October 1975). He becomes Prime Minister the December 8th 1976 until July 1978.

Become President of the Republic the October 22nd 1993, re-elected in 1999, author of the mutinies and died several personalities of RCA. It is reversed by a coup d'etat of François Bozize the March 15th 2003.

Shown to have diverted 70 frank billion CFA, Patassé was condemned by Contumace the August 30th 2006 by the criminal court of Bangui to 20 years of Forced labors.
