Angar the Cry (Angar the Screamer in English) is Super-unpleasant pertaining to the universe of Marvel Comics appeared for the first time in Daredevil n°100.

Origin

David Alan Angar, singer of American Rock'n'roll, was subjected to the effects of a machine created by the technologists of Titan which bombarded its vocal cords of hypersons. The mechanism of its voice was affected. The operation was carried out under the auspices of a véreux lawyer, Kerwin J. Broderick, which hoped to make use of him against Daredevil and the Black Veuve.

Capacities

Angar emits piercing cries which stimulate chemical substances of the brain, causing hallucinations and sometimes amnesia at those which are with range of its voice. However it cannot control the specific content of the hallucinations of its victims which are of the psychotic type or nightmarish.

The cry of Angar affects in a more or less intense way those which perceive it according to the distance to which they are. The time of recovery for a man of normal constitution is one hour if it is with 15 meters of Angar and twelve hours if it is to 1 meter.

Angar, of course, is immunized against the effects of its cry which can reach an amplitude of 180 decibels in the range of the high frequencies and can cause permanent auditive damage at those which are some too near. It can shout with full power during more than one hour of sharpened while stopping but to take again its breath.

Daredevil and Angar the cry

Daredevil is vulnerable to the cry of Angar: this last modifies the perception of reality. On the other hand, Angar has another capacity, it causes a partial amnesia, this second capacity being based on the sight, it is without any effect on Daredevil.

The Black Widow, the girlfriend of Daredevil, helps Daredevil to fight against Angar. She threatens to kill Angar with a shooting with end carrying of her bracelets, unhappy Angar is obliged to yield and stop shouting.

Iron Fist and Angar the cry

Angar the cry used its capacity to make a Lavage of brain in Colleen Wing, a friend of Iron Fist to push it to kill his/her friend. Once this one was cured by Iron Fist, she is avenged by killing Angar coldly for a blow for saber.
