Minaucourt-le-Mesnil-lès-Hurlus is a common French, located in the department of the Marne and the area Champagne-Ardenne.

History

Minaucourt is mentioned for the first time into 948 by the Flodoard chronicler: Cortis Magnaldi (Auguste LONGNON, topographic Dictionary of the Marne , Paris, 1891, p. 166)

Village entirely destroyed with the war 1914-1918. Rebuilt in the years 1922-1923, except the hamlet of Beauséjour today in the military camp of Suippes. Raymond Poincaré passed there in 1918.

Personalities related to the commune

Auguste Brachet, known as Gus Godfather (+ 1916) wire of the founder of the hamlet of Beauséjour (François-Etienne Brachet). Its celebrity comes from her apiary and hydromel.
