Andy Montañez

Andrés known as Andy Montañez is a singer of Salsa (and Boléro S) born the May 7th 1942 in Santurce (Puerto Rico). He was the singer of El Gran Combo of 1962 with 1976 (he recorded with them 27 albums) then of Dimensión Latina (Venezuelan group) of 1977 with 1980, to replace Oscar Of Leon (Jerry Rivas replaces it within El Gran Combo). It formed its own orchestra: Andy Montañez Known there Orquestra and also sang with the Puerto Rico All Stars , with 4 recoveries, between 1976 and 1995, and with Ismael Miranda (3 albums of Bolero S). In 1992, it represented Puerto Rico with the World Fair of Seville. In 2004, Daddy Yankee invited it on the album " Barrio fino " to sing Sabor has Melao , a Reggaeton based on a Salsa of Orquesta Tabaco there Ron. The two wire of Andy Montañez also became of the singers of salsa.
