Andy Degroat
Andy Degroat or Andrew de Groat is a Chorégraphe American born in 1947. Collaborator of Bob Wilson during the Years 1970 with New York, it takes part in the creation of parts such as Ouverture , the Glance of the deaf person , Einstein one the Beach . He creates his company Red Notes with two Ballet S founders: Red Notes and Fan Dance ( Dance of the ranges) which will be regarded as the signature of the company.
Specialist in the spinning (turning movement), it takes again then parts of the traditional repertory with the key of insolence and especially of humor which characterizes it. The most famous remainder the Lake of the swans created in 1982 for three interpreters, but it will attack thereafter with Casse-Noisette , Bayadère , Gisele , etc
1982 are the year of its installation in France.
