Andrianjaka
Sovereign of the Kingdom Merina (center of Madagascar), having reigned towards the end of the 16th century, Andrianjaka was the son junior by the king Ralambo who preferred it with his Andriantompokoindrindra older brother to succeed to him. He completed the work of territorial expansion of his predecessors then establishes his capital with Ialamanga (or Analamanga ) which, for the occasion Tananarive was renamed. As a whole however, its reign was more peaceful and was characterized especially by the organization of great work, in particular hydraulic for the installation of the marshes of the Betsimitatatra, surrounding Antananarivo, to make Riz ières of them.
