Andrian Nikolaïev

Andrian Grigorievitch Nikolaïev (in Russian: АндриянГригорьевичНиколаев ) is a Soviet Cosmonaute born the September 5th 1929 and deceased the July 3rd 2004.

Biography

He married the cosmonaut Valentina Terechkova, at the time of a marriage " arrangé" for reasons of propaganda. The couple will give rise to a little girl (now become doctor), and will separate shortly after.

Flights carried out

  • August 11th 1962: on board Vostok 3, it carries out the first flight grouped in space with the mission Vostok 4. The flight lasts 3 days and 22 hours, and it is a new established record.
