Andrew Murray is a British Naturaliste , born the February 19th 1812 with Edinburgh and dead the January 10th 1878 with Kensington with London.

Murray is lawyer with Edinburgh until in 1860. Of 1860 with 1865, he is secretary for the royal Société of horticulture. It is a specialist in the Coniferae. He also works on the Coléoptère S, in particular on the harmful species for the cultures. Its collections are preserved at the British Museum essentially and a part in the collections of zoology of the university of Odessa. He is member of the Société linnéenne of London and of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
