Andrew Hill
Andrew Hill (born the June 30th 1931 with Chicago, Illinois, and dead the April 20th 2007 with Jersey City, New Jersey), is a Pianiste and a Compositeur of American Jazz.
Its reputation is born during its recordings for Blue Note in the Sixties. He played with many jazzmen, of which Eric Dolphy, Joe Henderson, Richard Davis, Tony Williams and Kenny Dorham. Andrew Hill also taught the music in university. After an eclipse during the years 1990, its album Dusk (2001) meets a nice success and several prices of the public or the critic are worth to him. Its last recording will be Time Lines , published in 2006.
