Andrew Birkin
Andrew Brikin is an actor, scenario writer, realizer and English producer, born the December 9th 1945 with London. He is the brother of the actress and singer Jane Birkin and the father of the poet and musician Anno Birkin
Assistant of Stanley Kubrick on 2001, the odyssey of space in 1968, it writes several scenarios thereafter: the Player of flute of Jacques Demy in 1972, Flame in 1975, King David in 1985. It is brought to collaborate in the adaptation of the novel of Umberto Eco the Name of the pink carried out by Jean-Jacques Annaud in 1986. It realizes inter alia Burning Secret in 1988 and The Cement Garden in 1993 interpreted by his niece Charlotte Gainsbourg. More recently, he collaborates in the scenario of the film the Perfume , drawn from the novel of Patrick Suskind.
