Before the French revolution

Of a famous family of Spanish nobility, Andres Maria Guzman makes her studies at the Military academy of Sorèze and obtains French nationality in 1781.

Under the French revolution

It serves some time in the armies of the Revolution, but prefers to return to Paris at the beginning of 1793.
