Andrei Lougovoï

Andrei Konstantinovitch Lougovoï () (born in 1966 in RSS of Azerbaïdjan) is an old operational agent of the KGB and a multimillionnaire which met Alexandre Litvinenko the day when this last started to feel sick November 1st, 2006.

Litvinenko will die later in November because of a poisoning by radiations caused by polonium-210, and the May 22nd 2007 the British authorities showed officially Lougovoï of the murder of Litvinenko, announcing that they asked its Extradition Russia. In answer, Russia recalled that the Russian Constitution prohibited to extradite a Russian citizen, while Lougovoï showed the British secret services themselves to be implied in the meutre of Litvinenko. Lougovoï turned over to Moscow after its passage to London, where it resides always freely.

September 15th, 2007, Vladimir Jirinovski, chief of the Left liberal-democrat Russia (PLDR), declared that Andreï Lougovoï would be second of his list to the parliamentary elections of the Douma.
