Andree Brunin

Andree Brunin , born the February 13rd 1937 and deceased on April 1st 1993, is a French poetess.

Biography

Woman of North, Andrée Brunin was born with the Madeleine on February 13rd, 1937. His/her father railwayman is died for the France with the orders of his engine. It was adopted War orphan on March 5th 1948. She lived with Hellemmes during all her youth, spent the summer months to Not-to-L' Scale (Haute-Savoie) as an instructress of the summer camps of the SNCF and travelled through France. She obtained her Certificat of studies in 1951 and followed a formation of Sténo-dactylographe to the Pratte School of Lille. Employed with the Brunel-brothers establishments, it ceased his community activity in 1962 to marry and devote themselves to its family life. The majority of its texts were written in North. In 1976, the household acquired of a house with Bavinchove which became its favorite stay. She died there of an acute leukemia on April 1st, 1993. At the time of the tenth birthday of its disappearance, many demonstrations were organized in the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais (spectacles, conferences, exposure,…). The Library of Bavinchove which it had animated bears from now on its name. The poetic universe of Andree Brunin inspired various painters (Joke Aarts, Ans Vandorselaer,…) like more than one score of musicians (France, Romania, the United States, Italy, Australia, New Zealand,…) who composed according to its texts. Tales for child, an epistolary novel remain to be published.

Works

Its poetry with the instinctive immediacy reflects the daily newspaper in its freshness or its anguish and is characterized by a very varied form often based on popular structures but which does not scorn to call upon refined combinations or erudite figures; the different ones towards employees, often odd, confer on its texts a pace of always musical improvisation. The various parts of the collection correspond to the periods of its life, mixing enthusiasm overflowing with deep despair, the unit testifying to a pallet of a great density.
