Andreas Klöden is a runner German cyclist .
Biography
Andreas Klöden was born the June 22nd 1975 with Mittweida, in GDR. The father of Klöden is an old driver of hunting for the East-German army and his/her mother is professor of art, he has two sisters. He married on October 21st 2006 with Berlin, with BETTINA. He is the father of two children: Congratulated and Laeticia. He lives with his family with Kreuzlingen in Suisse. He measures 1m83 for a weight of form of 63kg.
He knew Jan Ulrich in 1986 in the training of the future athletes of GDR. In 1999, Klöden lived with Berlin but he moves to join Jan Ulrich in the small village of Merdingen in Germany. In 2004, Jan Ulrich and Andreas Klöden move in Suisse, at the edge of the Lac of Constancy.
Professional path
He becomes professional cyclist in 1998 within the team “Deutsche Telekom” which is renamed “T-Mobile” in 2004.
In 2000, it gains Paris-Nice in front of the French Laurent Brochard, with a victory in against the watch of the Col of Èze. It gains then the Tour of the Pays Basque in front of the Italian Danilo Di Luca (2nd) and the French Laurent Jalabert (3rd). In 2003, it finishes 4th critérium International, with one 2nd place with against the watch with 4" of its compatriot Jens Voigt. A fall at the time of the 1st stage of the Tour de France, the constrained one with the abandonment 8 days later.
In 2004, it finishes 6th Walloon Flèche and Tour of Germany. In June he becomes champion of Germany. In 2007, Andreas Klöden joined the formation Astana. It takes again the competition on the Lathe of Algarve of which it is classified 19th. It gains Tirreno-Adriatico in front of the Luxembourger Kim Kirchen and its Kazakh fellow-member Alexandre Vinokourov, then the Circuit of the Sarthe with a victory of stage over against the watch with Angers. At the time of the 5th stage of the Tour de France it falls. The diagnosis falls: it has the cracked coccyx what causes to awake in him old demons (it had broken the coccyx 3 years before).
