Andreas Gruschke
Andreas Gruschke, born on April 16th, 1960 in Tengen-Blumenfeld in Germany, is a writer, photographer and German researcher specialized for the Tibet. Its scientific formation is that of a geographer, ethnologist and sinologist. Since 1987, Gruschke works as author and free journalist with for topics of predilection Tibet, the the Himalayas, the Silk route and the Far East. At the end of its studies, he travelled to Southeast Asia, to China, Korea, to Central Asia, but the majority of its voyages carried out it in the areas of the high plateau of Tibet. Gruschke published many books and articles on the culture Tibetan including one particularly important on the monasteries of the areas Eastern Tibetans, in Amdo and Kham. Other books and reports/ratios are devoted to Korea, the Himalayas and China. It also published albums on its area of origin, Hégau and the the higher Rhine. He currently works on the nomads of the area Eastern Tibetan of Yushu (Kham of north).
