Andreas Eschbach (born with Ulm the September 15th 1959) is regarded as one of the major writer S of the German Science-fiction and one of rare to be translated in several languages.
Biography
In spite of first writings at the eleven years age, Andreas Eschbach made of the “traditional” studies in the aerospace field at the technological university of
Stuttgart before working in this city, like Data-processing Developer in
, then as
Manager in a company of the Council.
Its first professional publication is a Nouvelle, Poupées , which leaves in 1991 in stores data-processing German It T . Its Romance first , Of the billion carpet of hair , published in 1995, meets a great success which launches its career and allows him to live of its feather. Translated inter alia into Czech French, , Italian, Polish, Spanish and English, this book is worth an international repute to him. Andreas Eschbach saw since 2003 in Brittany with his Marianne wife. It is one of the rare German writers to popularize the writing by the means of seminars and workshops, in particular with the federal Academy of cultural education of Wolfenbüttel.
