Andrea di Giusto

Andrea di Giusto Manzini (Florence,… - 1451) is an Italian painter of the school florentine.

Biography

After being itself formed near Bicci di Lorenzo in the years 1420-1421, he collaborates with some important painters of the First Rebirth, like Masaccio, for part of prédelle of polyptyque in Pisa in 1426, the Storie di San Giuliano , and probably with the Chapelle Brancacci of Santa Maria del Carmine, and whose he is subject to the influence for the Miracolo dell' indemoniato with Filadelfia, then by FRA Angelico for the polyptyque one of the church Sant' Andrea has Ripalta (Figline Valdarno, 1436), in the Assunta has Santi (1437) with Gallery of the Academy or in the triptych Gualino of the Art gallery of Brera of Turin, finally, in approximately 1445, by Paolo Uccello, with which it collaborates in frescos in the Dome of Prato.
