Andrea di Cione di Arcangelo (Florence ~1308 - Florence 1368), known as Orcagna was a painter, sculptor, goldsmith, mosaïste and Florentin architect of the 14th century. He was the pupil of Andrea Pisano and of Giotto di Bondone. His/her brothers Jacopo and Nardo di Cione were painters, Matteo di Cione, sculptor.

For Vasari, Andrea Orcagna is more the strong personality of Florence in the middle of the 14th century.

Some works
