Andre Techine
Andre Techine , born the March 13rd 1943 with Valence-in Agen (Tarn-et-Garonne), is a Scénariste, Acteur and Réalisateur French of Cinéma.
Biography
Initially critical with the Books of the cinema , it begins in the realization with Paulina from goes away , which is especially a portrait moving by the actress Bulle Ogier. But itself considers that its true beginnings are with Souvenirs of in France , a feature film influenced by Bertolt Brecht which is worth to him the praises of Roland Barthes (which will appear in the Sisters Brontë in 1979). With the support of high-speed motorboats (Jeanne Moreau, Gerard Depardieu, Isabelle Adjani, Isabelle Huppert, later Juliette Binoche and Daniel Auteuil) which recognized in him an exceptional director of actors, he invents a very personal cinema, of romafarouchement a anti-naturalist. Starting from Hotel of Americas in 1981, it starts to turn with Catherine Deneuve, which remains one of its actresses fetishes.Alternating the great romantic accounts and the accounts plus intimists, often with autobiographical tonality, it tackles subjects like the Homosexualité, the Prostitution, the Délinquance and the report/ratio with the dreams and death, while seeking to cause a new glance among spectators. Its setting in scene, of a great inventiveness (it will have thus a long time made a very personal use of two cameras turning simultaneously) gives an account of impassioned feelings, often transgressive.
In 1985, it gained the price of the best realizer with his film Rendez-vous to the Cannes festival. In 1995, it gains the César better realizer for the wild Reeds , which obtains also the Prix Louis Delluc. He was member of the jury to the Cannes festival of 1999.
In 2003, the whole of its cinematographic work is distinguished by the Prix Rene Clair. One can judge his influence through first films of several French authors such as Olivier Assayas, Michel Béna, Xavier Beauvois or Gaël Morel.
