Andre Milongo
Andre Milongo , born the October 20th 1935 with Mankondi, dead the July 23rd 2007 with Paris, is a Congolese politician (Congo-Brazzaville).
It obtained a control of the Université of Nancy, then studies with ENA.
He was civil servant of the the World Bank, founder of the Union for the democracy and the republic (UDR-Mwinda), Prime Minister for the transitional period between 1991 and 1992, president of the National Assembly and member of the National council of transition (CNT).
He is presented in the form of a candidate to the presidency in 1992, where he finishes fourth after Pascal Lissouba, and again in 2002 as principal candidate of the opposition vis-a-vis Denis Sassou Nguesso maisse withdraws less than 48 hours before the poll estimating that “the conditions of transparency of the poll were not guaranteed”.
