Andre Mentzelopoulos

Andre Mentzelopoulos , born in 1915 with Patras in the Peloponnese and deceased in 1980, was a French contractor of Greek origin .

Mentzelopoulos came to France to Grenoble to prepare a license of letters. He became then a business man having made fortune in cereal industry. He is known to have repurchased the store chain Felix Potin in 1958, and the field of Château Margaux in 1977.

The ensign Felix Pewter, badly managed, went bankrupt in 1996. Margaux castle and its vineyard were deeply reorganized under its direction to take again their prestigious rows.

His/her daughter Corinne Mentzelopoulos manages the field since disappearance, in 1980, of Andre Mentzelopoulos.
