Andre Lalande , born with Dijon the July 19th 1867 and died in Paris the November 17th 1963, is a Philosophe French.

Arts and aggregate doctor of philosophy, it teaches with the National university of Sevres, then with the Sorbonne and the university of the Cairo. He is elected member of political morals the Academy of Science and in 1922 and the royal Académie of Belgium in 1945.

The name of Andre Lalande remained attached to the fundamental work of which it directed the drafting, the technical and critical Vocabulaire of philosophy . In addition to this fruit of the discussions of the French company of Philosophy, Lalande developed a rationalism which makes reason continuously a whole of intellectual standards in progress.
