Andre Heiniger

André Heiniger (born in 1921 with La Chaux-de-Fonds and deceased the January 3rd 2000 with Geneva) is a Industriel and Head of undertaking Suisse.

It was l´un of the three presidents of Rolex of 1963 (after the death of the founder Hans Wilsdorf) with 1992, replaced by his son Patrick.

During its mandate, it in particular created the Rolex Award , a series of price rewarding for the personal projects in various fields such as sciences or l´environnement).

After its withdrawal of the businesses, it was named chairman emeritus of Rolex.
