Andre Halimi , born the April 28th 1930 with Béja (Tunisia), is a Journaliste and Réalisateur and producer of Télévision French. He is in particular the creator, with Lionel Chouchan, of the Festival of the American cinema of Deauville (1975) and of the Festival of police Cognac film (1982).

Career

Professional journalist in 1955, André Halimi collaborates in particular in Arts and Spectacles (1955-1959), with the daily newspaper Paris-Press (1959-1968), with Pariscope (1969-1981) as editor association and with VSD (1981-1983).

He produces and carries out regularly many television programs, in particular by joining together images of files. One owes him thus of the emissions with topic and the portraits, inter alia, of Jean Cocteau, Michel Galabru, Louis de Funès, Michele Morgan, Charlie Chaplin, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, etc
