Andre Gounelle

Andre Gounelle , born in 1933 of a big family Protesting E comprising several Pasteur S, passed his childhood and its adolescence to Morocco. Of philosophical and theological formation, it engaged as military chaplain in Algérie during the war of independence. Thereafter, he will be Pasteur with Dijon then with Nimes and will obtain the pulpit of systematic Théologie with the Faculté of Protestant theology of Montpellier. It will remain at this station until its retirement in 1998, publishing many works and articles. The Université of Lausanne will allot to him a doctorate Honoris causa for its work. It was also during twelve years member of the National council of the Church reformed of France, chaired a time liberal association " Gospel and liberté" and codirigea French translation of works of Tillich.
