André Faure was a French politician, who was mayor of Limoges, France, for the period of the Occupation, of 1941 with 1944.

Biography

It was chief candidate of right-hand side to the local elections in Limoges before the war.

It replaced Leon Betoulle the March 25th 1941, on order of the Régime of Vichy.

In July 1944, it required itself the raising of its functions like those of its council, and proposed the nominanation of a new mayor. September 6th, Henri Chadourne became mayor.
