Andre Devambez
André Devambez (1867 - 1944) was a painter French.
He is especially known for table " The charge" (with the Museum of Orsay at present); it is it also to have painted many small sizes often inspired by the fantastic tales or stories (" The Cat botté" , " the alarm clock of Gulliver" , " the Little Red Riding Hood " , " Tom Thumb " , " Ulysses and Cyclope" , " the imp of the collines" , " White Snow and seven dwarves with orée of the bois" , " the ogre" …). He also collaborated in the newspaper " Illustration". Professor at the School of the fine arts, the institute accommodated it in 1930.
