Andre Delvaux

André Delvaux (Heverlee, Belgium, the March 21st 1926 - Valence, Spain, the October 4th 2002) is a Belgian Réalisateur of Cinéma.

André Delvaux obtains a license in Germanic philosophy and the right to the Universit3e libre de Bruxelles. He becomes professor of literature Dutchwoman and carries out several documentary short films of 1956 with 1962, and turns to the category Fiction with time of the schoolboys (1962).

According to the realizer Jaco Van Dormael ( Louse the hero ), it is him which opened the door of the Belgian cinema in which we engulfed ourselves.

André Delvaux was regularly quoted as being a very influential member of the Belgian Franc-maçonnerie.
