Andre Dassary

André Dassary (of which the true name is André Deyhérassary), born with Biarritz the September 10th 1912 and deceased the July 7th 1987 is a singer French.

Initially intended for hotel trade, it is impassioned for the sport and becomes professional masseur - it for this reason accompanies the team by France to the university Olympic Games of 1937. Holder of a first price of song, operetta and Op3era Comique to the Conservatory of Bordeaux, it begins truly his career within the Collégiens of Ray Ventura. Prisoner in Germany at the beginning of the Second world war, it is released and reached truly notoriety under the Occupation, in particular with the operetta the Inn which sings (1941) and with a song with the glory of the Maréchal Pétain, '' “  Marshal, Us Voilà !   ” '' - which, after war, will be always reproached to him, although its success did not weaken thereafter. Among his great successes one will retain particularly Ramuntcho (1944), a song of Vincent Scotto for the music and Jean Rodor for the words. It was the high-speed motorboat of the operetta the Golden Fleece of Francis Lopez and Raymond Vincy created with the Théâtre of Châtelet in 1954.
