Andre Daix
Of his true name Andre Delachenal (January 21st 1901 - December 27th 1976), André Daix is especially known to be the creator of the " Professor Nimbus" , a dumb Comic strip of 4 boxes published as from 1937 in Opera Mundi and the daily newspaper the Newspaper.
After the Second world war, shown collaboration, Daix the comic strip stops and flees in Portugal then in Latin America. The character is taken again by other authors for Opera Mundi of which Rob-Vel and Pierre Goff.
Daix will return to France a few years later at the time of an amnesty.

- Saladin (in Marseilles Morning, 1937-1939)
- Chiffonnette (in Paris-Evening, 1939-1940)
- the Baron de Crécus (in the Morning, 1940-1943)
- Pollycarpe (in the Car)
