Andre Condé
Cop , pseudonym of Andre Affolter, is a sculptor Suisse born on February 29th 1920 with La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. Deceased In 2004.
Biography
1939-1943 Start in training of sculptor monumental mason and attend the School of art of La Chaux-de-Fonds.
1946 Cop settles in Paris and works in the workshop of Germaine Richier.
1948 First personal exposure to La Chaux-de-Fonds.
1949-1955 technical Commercial artist. He carries out terra cotta sculptures (Menhirs 1955), concrete reliefs and ceramics.
1949-1956 Living room of the young sculpture in Paris.
1960 It approaches the technique of hammered and welded metal.
1962 He works with wood and is interested in the resins expoxy.
